The Mickey Project

So for work we decided to embark on a project that would show our own interpretation of how we would take an existing Mickey statue and personalize it by somehow tying it into our role at Disney. So here is my version... which shows Mickey as me (complete with similar wardrobe at the time of the presentation) who is starting to break out of his shell... which came from Minnesota (as indicated by the state seal). Inside is filled with a collage of past projects that I have been involved with over my tenure here at WDI. There's a light that you can switch on that helps illuminate the inside as well...

Australia - Sydney

Our final destination was Sydney. Aside from the Opera House and the Bridge, there's not much more to photo. So I photo'ed the crap out of them...



And the fireworks were spectacular! Especially from the water cruise we had booked!

Australia - Noosa Heads

Our next leg of the trip was spent in Noosa Heads - an hour drive north of Brisbane. The accomodations were spectacular and we were right on the beach. Seema loved it and - aside from some foot problems - I was in heaven as well. We did nothing but chill the entire stay.

Australia - Cairns

So this was the start of the trip. Mostly just me and the hotel room. Seema was late, so I spent the first day and half here by myself.



We managed to make it here on the first night she arrived... of course, she was totally unsuspecting.



We ended up getting sick the next day and we missed our chance to scuba dive. We managed to snorkel the next morning, however, before catching a flight to Brisbane.

Disney Cruise (Way back in September '08)

Yeah... again with the old images. It was a great trip, though! We'd do it again in a heartbeat!

Worthington - November 2008

Alright... I finally downloaded the images from my camera. The problem with the size of memory cards these days is that it allows you to be lazy and never run out of disk space... Ha! Anyways, these are photos from my trip back to Minnesota last November during my Grandmother's 75th birhday. It was also my first time meeting the new addition to the family - Max.
